Scheduling & Batching

Schedule campaigns for the right time and split sends into batches to protect your number.

Schedule for later

Instead of sending immediately, you can schedule a campaign for a specific date and time.

In the campaign wizard Step 4 → toggle Schedule for later → pick your date and time (IST). SalesByte queues the campaign and starts sending automatically at that time.

Useful for:

  • Morning messages (send at 9 AM when people check their phones)
  • Festival greetings (schedule Diwali wishes the night before)
  • Time-zone aware sends

Batch sending

Batch sending splits your audience into smaller groups sent on different days. This is the safest way to run large campaigns on Personal WhatsApp.

Example: 500 contacts → split into 5 batches of 100, one batch per day.

How to set up batches

In Step 4 → toggle Split into batches → choose:

  • Batch size — how many contacts per batch
  • Schedule — when each batch goes out (auto-filled or manual)

Why use batches?

Sending too many messages at once on Personal WhatsApp can get your number flagged. Batches let you:

  • Stay within safe daily limits
  • Spread risk across multiple days
  • Reschedule individual batches if needed
🟢Personal WhatsApp

Batching is especially important for Personal WhatsApp. For cold contacts, keep each batch under 100–150 per day.

🔵Business WhatsApp

Business WhatsApp has its own rate limits managed by Meta. Batching is less critical but still useful for large lists.

Recurring campaigns

Want to send the same campaign automatically every week or month? Use a Recurring campaign.

In Step 4 → toggle Recurring → set:

  • Frequency — daily, weekly, monthly, or custom interval
  • Time — when to send (IST)
  • End date — when to stop (optional)
  • Audience mode — use the same contacts as the first run, or re-resolve the filter each time

Great for weekly newsletters, monthly check-ins, or regular promotional messages.

Sending speed (Personal WhatsApp only)

🟢Personal WhatsApp

Pick the right speed for your contact list:

  • Slow — one message every 45–75 seconds. Best for cold or unknown contacts.
  • Medium — one message every 10–30 minutes in batches. Good for mixed lists.
  • Fast — 5 messages per minute. Only use for warm, engaged contacts who know you.
