Group Conversations

Group conversations work just like 1:1 chats in SalesByte — they show up in your inbox, you can reply, and every message is logged.

How groups appear in the inbox

Click the Groups filter tab in the conversation list to see only group chats. Each group shows the group name and the last message sent.

Sending to a group

Open a group conversation and type your message — it goes to the whole group, just like on your phone.

See who's in the group

Open any group conversation → look at the right panel → click View Members. You'll see:

• All members with their names
• Which ones are already in your contacts
• Which ones have been active in the last 30 days

Import group members as contacts

In the Members panel, select the people you want to add → click Import Selected. SalesByte creates contacts for them and tags them with the group name automatically.

Keyword Alerts

SalesByte can watch your groups for specific keywords and alert you when someone mentions them. Useful for catching sales opportunities, complaints, or competitor mentions.
