Lifecycle Stages

Track where each contact is in your sales journey.

Lifecycle stages tell you where a contact is in your sales process — from first inquiry to paying customer.

The stages

StageWhat it means
LeadSomeone who showed interest but hasn't been qualified yet
ProspectQualified — they have a real need and could buy
NegotiationYou're in active discussion about pricing or terms
CustomerThey've bought from you
ChurnedWas a customer but stopped

Contact status

Alongside lifecycle stages, each contact also has a status that tells you how warm they are right now:

StatusWhat it means
HotReady to buy — follow up immediately
WarmInterested but not urgent
ActiveRegularly engaging with you
ColdNo response in a while
NewJust added, not yet engaged

How to update

Open any contact and click the Lifecycle or Status field to change it. It updates instantly.

Use stages to prioritise

Go to Contacts → filter by Status: Hot to see your most urgent leads. Or filter by Lifecycle: Negotiation to focus on deals that are almost closed.

Auto-enroll in sequences based on stage

You can set up a sequence to automatically enroll contacts when their status changes. Example: when a contact moves to Hot, automatically start a 5-message follow-up sequence.
